I saw "Full Frontal" Sunday, an enjoyable little lark. Maybe I'm softening in my old age, but I am finding Julia Roberts a more pleasant screen presence.

I have also been clocking up the miles on my walking binge, walking all of eight miles to and from work, listening to the new Marianne Faithful cd, "Kissing Time"

Yesterday afternoon, after briefly recuperating from a longish walk with my friend Drew, I took in "24 Hour Party People" at the Shattuck.

I have to say that I liked it very much. It has wit and more than a pinch of verve and an endearing turn by Steve Coogan as the narrator.

I just might take in another film this afternoon, possibly "Full Frontal", also playing at the Shattuck.
